BrevoSetup
First, you'll need a Brevo account. If you don't have one already, go to the Brevo website and sign up. It's a quick process.
Step 2: Locate Your Brevo API Key
Log in to your Brevo account.
Navigate to the developer section or API keys section. This is usually found under settings or your profile.
Copy your API key. Keep it somewhere safe, as you'll need it soon!
Step 3: Install the Brevo App in vivenu
Log in to your vivenu account.
Go to the Marketplace.
Search for the Brevo app and click to install it.
You'll be directed to the installation page.
Step 4: Configure Optional Exports (Vivenu to Brevo)
On the installation page, you'll see options to sync specific data from vivenu to Brevo.
Toggle on any optional exports you want to synchronize. This allows you to choose which vivenu data (like customer purchase history or event attendance) gets sent to Brevo.
Step 5: (Optional) Opt-Out New Customers by Default
You have the choice to manage how new customers are added to your email lists:
You can opt out new customers by default from receiving emails. This means they won't be added to your Brevo mailing lists unless they explicitly opt in later. This is a good practice for ensuring compliance with email marketing regulations.
Step 6: Map Customer Fields to Brevo Contact Attributes
This is a crucial step to ensure your customer data is organized correctly in Brevo.
You'll need to map vivenu customer fields to Brevo's contact attributes. Think of this as telling vivenu where to put specific pieces of customer information (like their name, email, or address) within Brevo.
Before you start mapping, make sure you have a good understanding of Brevo's contact attributes. Familiarize yourself with the different fields Brevo uses to store customer information. This will help you "fit" the vivenu information into the correct Brevo fields, ensuring your data is accurate and usable for your email marketing campaigns.
