1. PayPal Account Check and Payment Gateway creation

Make sure your PayPal account works

  1. In vivenu, access  dashboard > settings > payment gateways.

  2. Create a new payment gateway and select “paypal”.

Find Your PayPal Developer Info

  1. Log in to your PayPal account.

  2. Go to the "Developer" section.

  3. Find your Client ID and Client Secret. (You'll need these later!)

Set Up Webhooks

  1. Go to: Paypal developer applications

  2. Pick your application.

  3. Add a new webhook.

  4. For the Endpoint URL, use the one from your dashboard: dashboard > settings > payment gateway > webhook.

  5. Choose "Select all events" to send.

Activate in Vivenu

  1. In Vivenu, make sure your paypal payment gateway is toggled on to "active".

  2. If you have not done so, enter Client ID and Client Secret.

Important Note on Checkout Experience:

When customers click the checkout button, a separate window will pop up. While it might look like they need a PayPal account, guest checkout is possible.
